Pingasa abyssiniaria

The Duster moth has a wingspan of 4 cm. It has a speckled colouration which aids in blending the moth in with the surface that it is resting on.

In South Africa the Duster may be found across most of the eastern half of the country.

The larvae of this moth feed on trees such as the Natal Plum and Cabbage Tree.

It may be found in bushveld and subtropical forest.
